Our Team

I am honored to represent the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce as Vice President. I will hold the position until January 2024. Since I was seven years old I have been interested in computers, my father heard that they were the future and he purchased one for me. I still remember to this day that thinking that the floppy disk drive was so big and heavy that if I dropped it, there would be a permanent dent on the wood floor. Since then, my knowledge, research and experience on all things AI has continued to evolve in the field of technology. I joined the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce in 2020, while contemplating a new chapter in my life. The Chamber opened my eyes to the joys of networking and meeting new people. The best part of this is that as a member of the Board of Directors I am part of a team that really interacts with their members through business and personal friendships. We are not afraid to have those often difficult conversations; we collaborate and then execute key decisions. When thinking back at my life, I am most grateful for waking up every morning healthy and being able to participate in the opportunity’s life brings. Life is always interesting!

My Edward Jones experience allows me to bring a holistic approach financial planning, not just for the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce but to businesses within the community. By being focused on financial goals, we can concentrate on what’s most important: your family, your career and your future. I believe in a personal level of service from our team, we know your name, we respect your values and we value the relationship. The Chamber believes in working closely with all of our business professionals to help execute your vision and adapt to real-life changes while you continue to prosper. I am a graduate of University of California – Irvine with a degree in business economics. I enjoy art of all forms, cooking (I grew up in a restaurant), and traveling. I am also fluent in Cantonese – Chinese.

I am honored to represent the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce as President.  I will hold the position until January 2024. I was blessed with the opportunity to accept a job offer from Brian Hews / Hews Media Group in 2013 and began coverage of the city of La Mirada in 2018. Meeting so many wonderful people opened up the prospect of establishing my own publication These Curious Times News, LLC in the city. My work with the Chamber began in 2020 and like they say the rest is history!! I really enjoy networking and meeting new people.  My favorite part of being on the Board of Directors is listening to what our members need and being a part of that solution. Everyone has a different perspective but we are on the same team and we are focused on supporting all of our members.
