Masters of Harmony | Website
The Masters of Harmony began in 1985, and for the past 36 years they have been dedicated to the pursuit of musical excellence. Today, this 75-man ensemble is the performance and competition chorus of the Greater Los Angeles, California Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS). The chorus specializes in close-harmony, four-part a cappella music. Its repertoire features Broadway, Pops, patriotic and holiday selections. They are a fully auditioned chorus of amateur singers who love to perform and entertain. Their members come from all walks of life, and range in age from 20 to 80.
Guests are welcome at rehearsals held each Wednesday evening at the La Mirada United Methodist Church. In general, they seek men who are enthusiastic performers, can hear and sing harmony opposite a melody, and will commit to being an active participant in our chorus, including weekly rehearsals and frequent performances. They encourage you to become affiliated with the Masters of Harmony, either as a performer or a supporter. Their shows provide excellent musical entertainment for the entire family.

St. Paul of the Cross Parish is located at 14020 Foster Road in La Mirada. St. Paul of the Cross Faith Family is composed of devoted parishioners who involved themselves in the different ministries, councils and organizations, prayer groups, and activities within the parish. They are the pillars of the church who keep it ever alive and growing and true in living up to their mission. Their faith community welcomes everyone. It is a family where everyone is welcomed, appreciated, loved, supported, and encouraged. The parish also operates a TK-8th grade Catholic school grounded in its mission and philosophy of education. They strive to holistically develop their students academically and spiritually. Recognizing that parents are the primary educators, they reinforce the religious background taught at home by providing a foundation grounded in Catholic-Christian doctrine.
