The La Mirada Chamber continues its speaker series on July 11th at 8:00 AM at 12 Sixty Modern Pub & Kitchen in La Mirada located at 14299 Firestone Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638.
We are honored to have Manuel (Manny) Munoz as our guest speaker, Community Development Director for the City of La Mirada.
Muñoz is a passionate planner who cares about improving the quality of life of a community and exposing urban planning as a profession to all K-12 students. He is the Community Development Director for the City of La Mirada. His expertise includes large mixed-use developments, historic preservation and public art. He is currently spearheading the La Mirada Housing for All initiative that is part of the Housing Element Update.
Prior to joining the City of La Mirada, Manny worked for the cities of Azusa, Culver City, Colton, Cerritos, Huntington Park, Manhattan Beach, Beverly Hills, and Norwalk. He currently serves as President of the Cal Poly Pomona’s Urban and Regional Planning Alumni Chapter and Chair for the College of Environmental Design’s Dean Advisory Council.
He is passionate about continuing the La Mirada Character by infusing good community design and promoting community engagement.
