30 May Jayson Truong Guest Speaker at Chamber Breakfast

The La Mirada Chamber of Commerce will continue it’s speaker series on June 4th at 8:00 AM at 12Sixty Modern Pub & Kitchen in La Mirada located at 14299 Firestone Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638.

We are pleased to have Jayson Truong as our special speaker for the month of June. Jayson is an experienced information technology solutions engineer who believes in understanding the underlying business before considering any solutions. He meticulously identifies business and compliance needs, engineering solutions that support and enhance business operations, ensuring they are both effective and secure.

Beyond his professional achievements, Jayson is a dedicated father and husband and an active community member. He serves on the board of the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce, contributing his expertise and leadership to foster local business growth. Previously, he was deeply involved with Toastmasters, excelling as the Vice President of Education and helping others hone their communication and leadership skills.

Jayson completed his degree in electrical engineering but chose to stay in the IT field, where his passion and experience reside. His 27 year journey in IT has given him unique insights into the evolution of the internet and cybersecurity.

In the early days, the internet was like a dirt road where trust was rarely an issue. As the internet evolved, trusting a random stranger online became increasingly problematic. Today, cybersecurity is a critical concern. Jayson will delve into the current state of cybersecurity, highlighting the challenges we face and the strategies we must adopt to safeguard ourselves.
