In our continuing efforts to explore La Mirada businesses ~ we are switching things up.  This month, we are having our lunch meeting on the 4th Tuesday instead of the usual 3rd Tuesday.

Join the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce for our Cash Crowd on Tuesday, April 23, at noon for award winning burgers by Chef Chris.

Krunch Burger, is the newest restaurant in the city and opened March 30th, located at 11523 La Mirada Blvd. Krunch is inside the center on the corner of La Mirada Boulevard and Leffingwell Road.

The cooking process creates a krunchy cheese “skirt” from which the name is derived.

Plenty of house made sauces for dipping and highly recommend ordering the fries. Check out their hand crafted fresh pickles, jalapeños and the shakes/malts are top-notch. Simple menu with quality grub at a very reasonable price. We met a couple of locals who said they have been by five times since Krunch opened!!!

The new Krunch Burger is a throwback to a burger and shake parlor. Burgers are delicious. The buns, patty and all the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and grilled onions [can’t forget the cheese that creates the Krunch] all combine to make the best burger in town. The young staff and management are kind, friendly and helpful.

Chef Chris, a Whittier / La Mirada native, curates the menu featuring burgers, amazing fries and world class malts.
