As a quick reminder, the La Mirada Chamber of Commerce will continue its speaker series on August 5th at 8:00 AM at 12Sixty Modern Pub & Kitchen in La Mirada, located at 14299 Firestone Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638.

We are pleased to welcome Fred Salas as our guest speaker.

Fred is a devoted father, realtor, community leader, and motivational speaker who shares a powerful and deeply personal perspective on organ transplantation in America. Drawing from his intimate knowledge of the subject, Fred’s presentations illuminate the often-unfamiliar history and the critical, life-or-death challenges involved in organ donation, offering audiences thought-provoking and inspiring insights.

Fred’s story is profoundly shaped by the loss of his ten-year-old son, Jack, who passed away from an asthma attack in 2018 and became an organ donor. Through Jack’s selfless gift, five lives were saved, illustrating the incredible impact of organ donation. Fred passionately advocates for registering as an organ donor while sharing a touching tribute to Jack’s life filled with faith, love, and joy.
